The KISA GPS Tracking service uses satellite-based GPS (Global Positioning System) and land-based signals (such as mobile phone towers) to determine its location. GPS works by using a network of satellites that orbit the Earth, sending signals down to the surface. The KISA Phone receives GPS signals and calculates its location based on the time it took for the signals to reach the phone and further improves its accuracy by using signal from mobile phone towers and other known fixed signal locations.
Once the KISA Device has calculated its location, it sends this information to KISA’s secure database. Only authorised users with login credentials can access this data, ensuring that the location of the phone is kept private and secure.
